Tips:
1) Avoid shampooing everyday, this will dry out curly hair and cause splitends.
2) Allow for your natural oils to stay as long as possible on your hair, if it starts to get greasy take a bit of baby powder and pat onto scalp. This will help absorb excess oil.
3) For shampoo and conditioner, choose a non-sulfate type (this keeps your hair from drying out) L'oreal carries a vegan/non-sulfate line called Everpure, around $5 at drugstores
4) Eat healthy and exercise when possible. Also, prenatal vitamins are suppose to help hair growth (I don't know from personal experience)

(I realized how much of a pain in the butt it was to not be able to walk out of the house without this "pinning procedure." I asked my husband to assist me in abolishing the mullet and gradually start evening things out.
Wings are a bit crazy but we can handle that! |
